Maxdesk is built and run by Chris Archer Group Inc., an IT, hosting and business-software company in Forney, Texas. We've spent years keeping other companies' machines, servers and ERP systems running, and we built Maxdesk because the remote tools we were paying for charged by the technician and answered support with a forum link.
Three rules we run it by.
Bill the machine, not the person
You pay for the computers you manage. Add every technician, admin and after-hours helper you have without the bill moving.
Nothing you can't inspect
Maxdesk is built on an open-source remote desktop engine, so the code that touches your machines can be read by anyone. Sessions are encrypted end to end.
A person answers
Every ticket is tracked against a response target. Priority Support customers get a named engineer who knows their setup.
